I have played countless of hands of 21. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have enjoyed online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent a lot of cash at vingt-et-un. The gambling dens have made it nearly impossible to defeat the game.

I still enjoy the game and play on a frequent basis. Over the years I have wagered on a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this method or defeat the house, nonetheless you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is built on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of runs. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!

I gamble with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I don’t win I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the wager back down to the original amount.

I am very strict and never back out. It gets extremely thrilling on occasion. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a number of years ago with $750 after 35 minutes using this tactic! And a number of weeks ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!

You have to comprehend that you can relinquish a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be surprised at the streaks you notice wagering this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 game.

Wager 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the first 5 dollar bet

Wager $5
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total bet of ten dollar

Wager 10 dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the original $10 wager

Bet 10 dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 20 dollar

Bet twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 20 dollar wager

Bet twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of forty dollar

Wager forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the initial forty dollar wager

Wager forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar

Wager 80 dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the initial 80 dollar wager

Wager $80
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total bet of 160 dollar

Bet $160
Take $160 paid to you, leave the initial $160 wager

If you departed at this moment you would be up 3 hundred and fifteen dollars !!

It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and drop your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
