I have gambled on countless of hands of twenty-one. I began working my way into the casinos when I was still underage. I have wagered on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. Given all that I have still lost a lot of money at 21. The casinos have made it nearly impossible to beat the house.

I still enjoy the game and play on a regular basis. Over this time period I have gambled on a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get loaded with this method or defeat the house, however you will experience an abundance of fun. This tactic is built on the idea that chemin de fer seems to be a match of streaks. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I play basic strategy blackjack. When I lose I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the action back down to the original sum.

I am very strict and never back out. It gets very exciting at times. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your wagers go up very fast. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had awesome runs a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Palms a few years ago with $750 after 60 mins using this technique! And a couple of weeks ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!

You have to understand that you can lose a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be amazed at the runs you see playing this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a $5 table.

Wager 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $5 wager

Wager $5
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 10 dollar

Wager $10
Take $10 paid to you, leave the first ten dollar bet

Bet 10 dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of twenty dollar

Wager $20
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 20 dollar wager

Bet 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total wager of 40 dollar

Bet 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 40 dollar wager

Bet forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 80 dollar

Bet eighty dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the initial eighty dollar bet

Bet $80
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $160

Bet $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the first 1 hundred and sixty dollar wager

If you departed at this point you would be up $315 !!

It is difficult to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you must NOT alter and lower your wager or the final result will not be the same.
